Of all the books in the series that I've read so far (up to #6 at the moment), this one is by far my favorite. The storyline moves along at a great pace, and I never once felt bored or annoyed. I'm SO over Bill, so his lack of presence in this book was refreshing - I think Eric is so much more entertaining, even under the peculiar circumstances in this story. Sookie doesn't get hurt nearly as much as in the last few books, which is also a welcome change. Some fun new characters are introduced, as well as some returning favorites. All in all, a really fun read!
