I’m giving it three stars for seemingly lazy writing and cardboard cut out characters, but I’m adding a star because it was a real page turner. I don’t normally finish books of this size so quickly, but it reminded me of a trashy true crime series that just drops on Netflix - completely bingeable. In fact, instead of trying to adapt this into a movie, they should adapt it into a series. Hell, you could even have spin offs of it. The phrase that came to mind while reading it was that it hot, glittery garbage. It was fun. Maybe this is quintessential airport read, I don’t know, but after Dostoevsky it hit the spot.
