The Way I Heard It by Mike Rowe

5.0

I LOVE that Mike Rowe incorporated his "The Way I Heard It" podcast into his memoir. For those that don't know his podcast is 5-10 minutes episodes about fascinating or quirky history. *Although I just saw his latest episodes are much much MUCH longer*

At the beginning of every chapter, Rowe tells us some fascinating history and then dives into some of his personal life. It was almost the perfect balance. Instead of just an average Joe, semi boring memior, he made it more fun for everyone.

I listened to this on audio and quite honestly I think it's the only way. I mean, it's read by him and who doesn't love listening to his deep, soothing, and dare I say sexy voice for 8 hours?
