Kadence is a primary teacher with a horrific event in her past. Nix is the take no shit leader of the local mc club. When he walks into the meeting with his sons teacher there is instant chemistry. But Kadence won't give him a go easily and what follows is the story of their beginning. Her being a strong willed take not shit heroine and him being a take no attitude male. They are both so stubborn and clash at times but only in the best of ways.
I gave this book five stars. I loved the way the characters were portrayed they're so real you could imagine them into life. I also loved the fact that the mc was a law abiding one and not one that had an illegal side like you read in some. River Savage has created an amazing world in this series making me want all I can get.
