I'll Look for You, Everywhere by Cameron Capello

medium-paced

2.0

I knew this would be angsty and I was fine with it, thinking this was romance and expected a HEA.

Theo and Magdalen are childhood friends and return to Italy to celebrate the Magdalen's sister's wedding. Magdalen has always had a crush on Theo and having Theo back brings all the feelings back.

Theo is a major asshole and treat Magdalen poorly. They are both pretty immature but I guess given their age, I get it but frustrating none the less. You learn of why Theo acts the way he does and felt there was no growth in his character.

The ending left me feeling underwhelmed.

I don't know if I missed this in the story but I dont know why Magdalen had an English accent in the narration. I know she is at school in Oxford but I would not think she would lose her Italian accent. Aside from that, Cam Wilder and Grace Blyth did bring out the angst in the story.
