Paradise by Toni Morrison

Did not finish book. Stopped at 31%.

I hate to say it, I hope I don't sound ridiculous but I simply could not understand what she was talking about.  I think Morrison uses incredibly descriptive but also dense language and I found most of this story going over my head.  I had to reread sections several times to get a general understanding and STILL had to look at chapter synopses to make sure that I didn't miss anything.  No shade to Morrison! I'll definitely be giving her work another chance in the future.  Maybe I just read this book at the wrong time.
