This DUAL POV Dark Romance introduces us to Skyla, a chronic people-pleaser who suddenly finds herself in a complicated and alluring situation. The story sets up a world where she's pursued by multiple men who are instantly captivated by her. There are hints at a broader plot that could lead to an intriguing journey.

Unfortunately, this one didn't quite hit the mark for me. While it had a lot of potential, I found the balance tipped heavily towards the smut rather than truly developing the overarching plot. If I have to read about her getting her kitty ate one more time…I struggled to get a clear sense of Skyla's personality beyond her people-pleasing nature, as the focus often remained on the immediate, intense attraction from the male characters. The MMCs, however, were more engaging and I found myself more interested in their individual stories.

Despite these points, the ending did leave me curious about what's to come, so I might just pick up the next book to see where the story goes!
