emersonerd 's review for:
A Feast for Crows
by George R.R. Martin
GRRM is a master at doing the unexpected. While the first half of the book was rather slow AFFC really picked up in the second half and served its purpose with events advancing the story for future books. My interest in the minor subplots / characters has expanded a great deal because the point of their inclusion became much clearer. That is the mark of a beautifully written story, when even the minor arcs can leave you breathless with anticipation. AFFC did that for me.
