This was just alright for an Emily Henry novel. For the most part, I did enjoy it, but I also found it to be lacking in a lot of ways.
I really loved reading and learning about Margaret. Her life story, her love story, her family. I loved all of it and wish that we got more time in her story. That also leads to my main complaint, which is that I feel like the split between the two stories left each story feeling very incomplete. Ultimately, I didn't care very much for Alice and Hayden's storyline and the whole time I was reading it all I wanted was to hear more about Margaret.
I think both storylines could have used more fleshing out and development of the characters and the whole story would have been better, but as it is, it's just alright.
