Forget book boyfriends, I have a new book girlfriend and her name is Lana!
π₯ A half breed human named Lana is kidnapped and sent to purgatory where she meets an archdemon called Ashtaroth. π₯
After reading The Gates of Hell, The Rivers of Hell series prequel, I was really excited to see where the series was going and let me tell you I was not disappointed!
Lianaβs writing style is so well crafted it seems effortless. The pacing is perfection. Her world building is so seamless; I never felt lost or confused.
Thereβs a lot of action in this one which I loved! Lana is such a badass!! She held her own throughout the story while still showing vulnerability.
Ash was just π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅ my gahd! He had me squirming in my seat and my heart melting all at once.
Ultimately, the story left off on a good note while also laying the groundwork for future installments which is my preferred type of ending.
