4.5/5
You want banter? You got it. Marriage of convenience? That too. Overprotective MMC? check. Enemies to lovers? double check.
This book is fun, swoony, and sexy. Alexei and Georgie are well drawn-out characters with Alexie being my favorite. Between his heel fetish, forcing of one bed, and calling Georgie his wife, he cares deeply for those he loves. The absolute most squeal worthy part of the book was the love letters through flowers, each one symbolizing a different chapter of their relationship. Book boyfriends move over, Alexei is IT.
I loved how both main characters judged the other so spectacularly wrong. Their preconceived notions about one another brought out endless insults and hilarious banter, but slowly revealing their true personalities and letting go of the facade they play for one another was the real story.
Loved it! Another win in this series. Each can be read as standalones, but I highly recommend the others as well!
