Conquer Me by Geneva Lee

Even though I wasn't a big fan of Command Me, I was intrigued enough to continue Alex and Clara's story. However, with Conquer Me it didn't get better. I have still the same issues with the story and the character development (or better the lack of), I had with the first book.
I mostly skim-read this book. The spicy scenes got repetitive, which again took over a huge part of the book. Here in Conquer Me, the focus is still heavily on the physical attraction.
Don't get me wrong, I like a good dose of spice but I also need more than that.
Sitting here, writing this review only 2 days after finishing the book and I can't remember much (not only about the story itself, but also how this book made me feel), confirms that nothing stood out to me.
