About a Rogue by Caroline Linden

5.0

This was sooooo delightful. I'm once again so happy with how Caroline Linden paces her books. I cannot EXPRESS how much of a relief it is not to have to slog through a really simple Misunderstanding at the 80% mark like so many histrom authors seem to do. Just a lovely comforting read the whole way through. This one reminded me a bit of Rose Lerner's stuff with the focus on fairly ordinary people. It also felt well researched especially with the Georgian setting which was nice to see again after "I Love the Earl"! And I did make a happy face seeing some characters from that series mentioned!

Thanks to Mel for the rec!
