Confessions of a Bookseller by Shaun Bythell
4.0
Confessions of a Bookseller gives a laconic look into the professional and social life of Shaun Bythell, owner of The Bookshop in Wigtown, Scotland.
I enjoyed the book: Shaun says to customers what I wish I could, and his learnedness about the trade is very engaging.
I only wish that it had been a bit more uplifting in parts - that, though, juust wouldn't have sat well with the realities revealed in the book.
