An interesting read. At times funny and at times a little annoying, Jen Lancaster recounts her trials in the collapse of .com world in the early 2000s. She has an acerbic wit but she's often times very rude, condescending and out-right bitchy. Which I suppose is the point since many of these attributes are listed in the title of the book. You wouldn't think she would be a symapethic character and in the first 2/3rds of the book I really didn't feel all that sorry for her outside of her struggles to find work. But based on the personality she exposes in this memoir, part of me understands something about attitude and personality might have played a part. It isn't until nearly the end of the book that I see that she seems like she's been humbled by her experience. She seems to have found another reason to live and has found success in that realm. Not sure I'll bother with any of her other books though.
