I ended up enjoying this book a lot more than I thought I would. It's very lyrical in its prose and I think it makes good use of its second person POV. The main three characters (excluding Dracula) were well-written, if a bit shallow due to the length and introspection of the book. The themes were well executed and the writing was very evocative of a lot of the unease and dread that comes with living with someone so unpredictable. I was pleasantly surprised by the happy ending, but very glad for it because I was really rooting for the wives by the end. I'm not really a vampire person, but I would recommend this!
