Plesantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this (cause I didn't love Nicola Dinans first book).
But I found the book a bit aimless in parts. There was a lot going on but I feel like that also made the characters feel very human. It didn't have a lot of central plot line, but I still liked the book a lot. Really enjoyed Max's character development. Overall an enjoyable, interesting read.
About forgiveness and growth and how well we know the people we love. And about change and in what way we can really change.
I like that we never found out much about Max's body, that her "physical transness" wasn't made into a spectacle
