“I’d never thought about love as something that would make me happy before.” He cupped her face with both hands again, needing to be as close to her as possible. He touched their foreheads together, and her hands came around his waist. “That’s what love is for. You make me happy just by being who you are.”
Even though I am not a fan on instalove the author walked pretty well on a thin line between instalust/infatuation/love so I wasn't completely put off by it.
I would have put less nasty ex boyfriends/girlfriends and mean rich moms and developed the romance between Matt and Bridget a little bit better/more because it felt like the drama at some point was a bit too much (and I generally like drama, it spices up the story a bit).
So overall it was an ok read and it might be because I am a big fan of Fleabag, but I want father Patrick's book next if there any chance of a third book.
