I enjoyed the writing style of this book but I think I didn’t like it overall as much as I thought I would.

I think I struggled to follow all the changing timelines. Maybe this would have been easier if I had read a paper book rather than listened to it.

I also was feeling really weird about the middle aged man/young girl dynamic for most of the book which I think impacted things.

There were also some very descriptive sex scenes which is not my cup of tea particularly when it is an audiobook.

the ending was just really sad and not very satisfying

I felt like the time travel was done well and I didn’t think there were too many plot holes so that was nice.

This book made me feel like I was constantly scrabbling… idk if that makes sense.

Also maybe if I hadn’t watched the movie first and known the plot in the back of my head I might have enjoyed the read more.
