Utterly delightful! Leena and Eileen were so spunky without veering into Quirky™. I loved all the characters. Some of the side characters were a little flat but there were so many of them that I think that can be overlooked. The writing was a breath of fresh air. It's not super advanced prose or anything, but at least you can tell the author actually put thought into crafting the sentences. The one drawback for me was that because the book focused equally on both perspectives, the romances were wrapped up a little too quickly at the end. I wouldn't have minded 30 more pages to really flesh things out.
Graphic: Chronic illness, Grief
Moderate: Cancer, Death
