“It was a Nightmare. Nothing but the green of her hair…and the blood of my people.”

I was just on Amazon one day and I randomly came across this comic and decided to pick it up. And as of right now, it's most definitely one of my fluffing favorites. I loteeally just bought it because of the cover art and ratings. Didn’t read the description or anything.

Boy am I glad I bought it!

Gertrude is a 10 year old girl who, like any little girl, wants to go to a Fairyland. She, however, gets what she wished for. Once she gets there she immediately wants to go home so the queen tells her she needs to go on a quest to find a magic key that will take her home.

TWENTY SEVEN YEARS LATER, she still hasn’t found it! She’s 37 but is trapped in her 10 year old body and she’s accompanied by her guide/friend, a jaded fly, who smokes and endures her [literally bloody] shenanigans.

It’s cutesy with its curse words like “fluff you and fluff this map” and “mother duckling of a powder puff fluffing”.

I love some of the creatures names like Darketh Deaddark. He was probably my favorite!

And some of the places they went were just made for some good laughs. Like Ice Cream Island.

This whole comic was the perfect combination of cutesy, gory, and snark.
