description

"The only way to feel truly alive is to start living fearlessly."

It took me a while to decide to read this book because of the subject of this book. I was having mixed feelings, I didn't know what to think of Shayda and Troy. I found their attraction a bit forced. I didn't agree with what they were doing but on the other hand I understood why it happened. This book isn't easy to read, there were pages where my heart broke and I felt so bad for so many characters in this book. You do have to be open-minded to read this book. There will be things that will not seem right or you don't agree with but life isn't easy.

"This is what he does to me. Open up the windows to my soul and push me out. Fly, dammit, fly!"

This book isn't a light funny sweet romance, this book is REAL. That is what I loved most about this book. I think there are women out there who can relate to Shayda, I hope they will come across this book in their life. I did love the character development for both Troy and Shayda. My heart broke for them, they had to wait a long time to really come out with their love for each other. I am especially very proud of Shayda, she comes such a long way in this book.

"It started long before this, when stars were mere particles in swirling clouds of dust. And every event since has conspired to bring us together."

I loved how everything eventually played out. The ending was perfect and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. I love her writing!
