When I say I love Alex and Elena I mean it with my whole chest. This book had all the things I love:
Ultra grumpy x ultra sunshine
Forced proximity
Work colleagues/antagonists
Pining/denial of love
Hurt/comfort
Will they/wont they

Alex a cantankerous grump finds himself beguiled by the ultra sunshiney Elena when they begin working together for his brother Liam and his parents Ana’s production company. Their smoldering tension ignites when Alex quits the company before he ever truly begins. However, the usually straight laced brother dives into temptation and engaged in a one night stand with the sexy Elena who can’t stand his personality but finds herself drawn to him none the less.

However angst ensues when Liam convinces Alex to reconsider taking the position in the company. Elena is flummoxed by the cranky Alex who gradually softens showing a compassionate heart beneath his harsh exterior.

The slooowww burn was perfect and I really enjoyed the character growth. I often found myself screaming SANDY!!! I loved it!

2.5/5 spice
