I think what throws me off about these books and their structure is that there is no quest to guide us along the way? Like we have no plan and no idea of where we are going at any given moment. ALSO there’s no home base! Like technically the Brooklyn House is there home base but there’s no reset when we’re there…it’s still hectic. Unlike PJO and MC where they’ll go back to Camp and the Hotel and get their new mission. I mean I GUESS HOO doesn’t have a reset but those books are so much better...Either way i enjoyed it. Not as good as Book 1 but still a fun time. I’m very curious to see how the Walt/Sadie/Anubis love triangle works out.
