I saw this book described as a beach read and I think that sums it up perfectly. I read this entire book in one sitting on a Sunday, not because I got sucked into a magical world or experienced heart pounding suspense, because this book was light hearted and warm. I find myself today imagine a beautiful beach side town and a tranquil lifestyle. I even want to go there myself. So I would say this book did the job.
