The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss

5.0

What? I know I'm not a 5 star giving kind of gal, but this books breaks the mold. Per the Author, if you haven't read one of his books before, don't start here bc it'll just confuse you and maybe piss you off. However, this book is imaginative, thoughtful, full of life, and breaks all the essential rules of story writing. And if you don't like the book, then don't blame me... as Patrick says... it just wasn't written for you then. But I've been broken and so it was written for me.

Update from 2nd reading - I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook version with Rothfuss himself narrating. Its as if the story was always meant to be read by him. It fits perfectly inside my memory.
