ok i liked this one more than mr salaryman but i feel like rather than the short story format being used to the story's advantage, i felt like it was more of a hinderance to the reader's immersion. perhaps that was a bigger problem with mr salaryman but its effects are still felt to a certain extent in this as well~
in relation to the short story for normal people, i think because we already got to know marianne and connell from the full length novel, the short story ended up working a lot better
