I wasn’t sure I wanted to read a YA novel about vampires, but Fuston’s vampires are completely different (they don’t sparkle like Edward or turn into bats like Dracula, both of which are good vampires in their own right, just not what I wanted to read about this week). I couldn’t put this book down and it had a little bit of everything: found family, betrayal, love, a battle royale, magic, and a gothic, mysterious mansion.
