Naked Empire by Terry Goodkind
1.0
I give up. This series is so painfully bad. I struggled through the last few (only because I had already purchased them - thank goodness they were used!) and kept hoping the writing would get better. It's gotten worse. The same plot-lines are re-hashed over and over. The dialogue is still stilted and awful. The characters are all unlikeable and stupid.
In this book, Richard is taken against his will (for the 3rd time), has to help a society that is too stupid and backwards to help themselves (for at least the 3rd time), while we once again get regaled as to why the society is wrong about their beliefs and it's all their fault that anything bad happens to them. At this point I feel like Terry Goodkind is just taking the previous books and shuffling the words around without actually bothering to fix any of the problems. DNF.
