I WANT TO RIP MY HEART OUT AND CRY!!!
This book started out super intriguing from the prologue and continued to hook me. (Yes it took 4 months to read, but I took a 3 7/8 month break) To start I have to say this book made me a bigger Magnus fan. He has definitely grown on me and he will stay one of my favorite characters. I CANNOT DEAL WITH ALL THESE DIFFERENT SHIPS!! Obviously we have our JemTessaWill love triangle. Then we have like a SofieJemGideon love triangle go on over there. And JessNateAnyMundaneMan on the other end. And then HenryCharolette. I absolutely adore Henry and Charlotte’s relationship. I really loved the one scene where they were talking about why they married each other and then they reconfessed their love for each other, and it made my heart feel more put back together after these soul ripping love triangles. I love the idea of Sofia and Gideon. I think they will make a lovely couple and I hope their relationship really grows in the next book. (If it becomes some sort of love triangle I will tear Clockwork Princess to shreds!!!) I felt really bad for Jessamine. How she put all this love into Nate because she wanted to be loved, and then how broken she is when she knows that he is dead. SIDE NOTE: Nate’s death was very satisfying.
NOW FOR OUR LOVE TRIANGLE OF COMPLETE AND UTTER PAIN!!!

I DO NOT SHIP JEM AND TESSA!!! NOOOOOOO! I WANT WILL AND TESSA. I WANT IT TO HAPPEN. BUT THEM JEM IS DYING AND TESSA MAKES HIM HAPPY. BUT I WANT THE FIRE AND PASSION THAT WILL AND TESSA SHARE. I WANT TWO BOOKWORMS TO JUST MARRY EACH OTHER. WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO ASK!!!WILL NEEDS TO CRASH THEIR WEDDING AND WILL AND TESSA CAN CONFESS THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND THEN WE CAN ALL BE HAPPY!!
But apparently that’s too much to ask. Because now Jem and Tessa have a wedding planned. 😡😡.
But it is still not all bad, BECAUSE WE FIND OUT CHARLOTTE IS GOING TO HAVE A BABY AND I AM SO EXCITED FOR THEM TO BE PARENTS!!! 👨👩👧
Now, finally, the ending with Will’s sister showing up is the best cliff hanger, I have yet to read, and I cannot wait for my soul to be destroyed more when I read the next boom.
