I’ve read this book at some point when I was still in school, though as private reading and not part of the curriculum, and I remember loving it. Rereading has not diminished any of the joy/entertainment this story gave.
This is a book I would’ve loved to read in a class setting and analyze it in a deeper and academic way. This way I had to laugh about all the foreshadowing of the car crash and Gatsby ending up dead in the pool all on my own.
Graphic: Death, Gun violence, Sexism, Car accident, Murder
