Small Town, Big Magic by Hazel Beck

Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.

I’m in DNFimg this book for two reasons. First, our MC is insufferable. I love a strong female lead but her constant need to be in control and believing she’s constantly right is too much. Maybe later the author explores it in some way but I can’t bring myself to get there. Second, is the writing. I found the concept of this book very intriguing but the execution lacking. It’s like the author knows the story but explains things so poorly I had a hard time understanding it.
