Circe by Madeline Miller

5.0

Circe has been the best book I’ve read this year, and it’ll probably be one of my ultimate favourites for a long time to come. The genius of retelling Greek mythology in a modern and feminists manner, blows me away. The concept is so simple, but works SO well.

I loved every second of this novel; from recognising characters from my previous mythology knowledge, to rooting for Circe against her odds. I’m definitely reading more of Miller’s books, her writing style was effortless to read. Such an enjoyable novel.
