LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

"When happiness ends there's always ... the smell of blood in the air."

This is the first volume of the Demon Slayer Saga. There are 23 volumes in total. Tanjiro Kamado heads down the mountain to sell charcoal in town to provide for his family. He returns home to his family slaughtered and his sister. Upon discovering that his sister has transformed into a demon, he vows to find her a cure as well as find the demon responsible; beginning his training as a demon slayer.

The anime is one of my absolute favorites. Although I knew what to expect, I still loved this manga and will be reading the rest of the volumes asap. I read this one in one sitting. Reading this has reopened old wounds and brought out the same feelings I had while watching the anime for the first time. I love Nezuko. She is the cutest little demon, and I love Tanjiro for never giving up on his little sister, no matter what.
