Call Me by Your Name by André Aciman

5.0

something about this book felt so special and so REAL when it comes to a first love. the pain. the awkwardness. the yearning. and YES the age gap is weird, but the characters thought so too, so at least it wasn't too toxic?? idk. I'm just going to let it be a love that's pure and fleeting and see it as that. otherwise, very lyrical and poignant writing. this book really sucked me in and took hold of my heart. although some parts were a little ... too artistic, it was a full experience for me to read and I'm excited to come back to it again in the future.
