This is the second installation in the series, and I am fully on board with this delightful duo. Hawthorne and Horowitz's rapport is entertaining and they are perfectly complementary partners in solving crime. The way Horowitz pays homage to Sherlock Holmes and inserting himself as a character is so smart and brilliantly meta.
The stories are interesting and unique, and the way the reader is led to the solution is such a fun ride.
The writing is witty and irreverent, and I am looking forward to the next one.
