One of Our Own by Lucinda Berry
5.0

If you're looking for a book to rip your heart out like Saving Noah, or let's be honest, all of Lucinda's work, I highly recommend One of Our Own. The audiobook performance was phenomenally haunting and gripping.

The story follows a s***cide prevention hotline volunteer, Felicia, as she takes a call that will change everything that she thinks she knows. She does everything she can to help the young girl on the line, even going against protocol and giving out her personal cellphone number. What the girl reveals threatens to rip this small town apart. Will Felicia do the right thing, even when faced with a life changing decision?
