I know this is a classic and everyone loves it, but unfortunately it just wasn’t for me. I really struggled getting through this one and its made me wonder what makes a book a classic?
I think the main reason I struggled with this one was because of how old fashioned some of the beliefs throughout the book are compared to the the 21st century. The writing style itself was also a bit hard to get through as I felt a lot of the book was unnecessary fluff, specifically the stories within the book by told by the March sisters.
Overall, this one seems a bit too drawn out with a lot of unnecessary details for me.
