Was this issue shorter than usual? Not a ton happened. But I do like how it turns some of our understanding of heroics on its head.
Nightwing thinks he’s stopping a thief, but what did the thief steal? It’s gut wrenching knowing how horrid Gotham really is and how the heroes accidentally can be part of the cycle of fear.
I think we may be finally close to wrapping up the Heartless storyline. This has truly been going on for too long. But this stuff is stressful. How is he going to tear it all down for Dick?
I still think the leaping issue is an annoying contrivance that just hasn’t been executed well or interestingly.
Considering how short this was, it did a good job in getting me invested in what’s next.
