Confess
by Colleen Hoover
This book was a huge disappointment. I liked the first chapter, hated the rest up to around 65% of the book, tolerated it up to 90%, and liked the last few chapters. After I was done with the last chapter, I wasn't quite satisfied with how it ended.
I wasn't feeling the romance between Owen and Auburn. It happened too quickly for my taste. Even though Owen had liked her for years, Auburn didn't know that. She didn't even know him. Owen creeped me out at times. He was too intense from the moment he met Auburn properly, and Auburn didn't care.
All things considered, this book wasn't the worst book out there. It just wasn't great, or even good, for me. My favorite character was Adam and, well, he wasn't around for long. He and Owen's relationship with his father are what made this book bearable for me.
