Yaasssss
This was everything that I wanted it to be. It was a mature couple facing real life issues. They were navigating co-parenting along with their unresolved relationship issues. Their love and desire for each other was so strong. I was rooting so hard for them. Their mutual love of sports that they parlayed into successful careers was so dope to me. I also loved all of the Atlanta references throughout the book. I enjoyed their spicy moments, but their tender moments of love and protection really did it for me. I fell in love with Howard’s writing when I read her Prototype series years ago. It was so nice to get another book from her.
