This was a great read in my opinion. Quite predictable for most of the book (in my humble opinion), but really good. I personally, unlike some other reviewers, loved the characters - the chemistry between Sybil and Rodrick, the dynamic between the two of them and the gargoyle, Benji and Maude. Just great.
The final two plot twists did shock me a bit, but I also kind of suspected something like that ending would happen (the final 30% and the discussions some characters had were too suspicious).
I do feel like it was a mistake to read it now, when the whole series is not done yet. Now I‘m pissed and really wanna know how it will continue, even though I do feel like I will be able to guess most of it. We‘ll see, when book 2 gets released.
