K so fair warning to everyone who hasn’t read this series… from here on out there’s pretty much no way I can keep this spoiler free. I did for the first one, which was a monumental task for me lol (which y’all better appreciate) but there’s just no way I can review the rest of these without actually talking about what happens lol. So, SPOILER WARNING - proceed with caution.
Now… Book two, rapid fire thoughts:
- I fucking LOVE Tory, she might be my spirit animal and is quickly becoming one of my favourite FMC’s of all time.
- Tory and Caleb = HOT. But Tory and Darius = HOT HOT (I’m looking at you fire wielding lesson, holy hell.) And what the actual fuck am I supposed to do if she ends up having to choose?! Y’all… I don’t know if I could handle it.
- Which leads me to, can we please talk about the Nymph battle at the end and how I almost cried when Darius was dying?! It’s only the second book and I’m already this emotionally invested?! Fuck. That’s dangerous right there lol.
- Orion and Darcy, YES PLEASE. That scene in the swimming pool, lord have mercy. Lord. Have. Fucking. Mercy. The tension between these two is next level and I am here for it!
- Caleb and the Pegasus… fucking DYING laughing.
- I really like that Seth swings both ways and I feel like this has a lot of potential. Also, the fleas - that was some funny shit. Also also, the moment with the piss… WTF.
- But then Seth accidentally making Darcy part of his pack was brilliant and I love that twist.
- Darius is number one, Orion and Caleb are tied for second and Seth is floating at fourth, but he has potential. Max is meh, he’s just kinda there lol. Although I will admit that Siren song thing was hot and totally worked.
- The way the girls have flipped the script in this book and taken back some control is perfect. I actually like how it’s not just a sudden thing, like you blink and now they know how to use their powers and all the problems are solved. They’re bad ass without their powers anyway and I love it.

- Tory sucker punching Max was epic.
- This bond between Darius and Orion has heartbreak written all over it and I don’t think I’m prepared for that emotional damage.
- I love the Twisted Sisters version of fated mates; Elysian Mates has a really pretty ring to it but then you add in the Divine Moment and the possibility of that going wrong and them becoming Star Crossed instead… that’s some heavy foreshadowing and I’m scared lol.
- I wanna know more about Xavier and how that all ends up… please tell me we get that?
- Pitball, that’s some crazy shit.
- The girls’ power, fuck yes. I need more of this and I desperately want to know what order they’re going to end up being. I vote dragon lol. But the way they both saved the men they love (but don’t realize they love yet) *chefs kiss*
Ok… I think I’m done lol. Only negatives for me (and they barely count in comparison) couple grammatical errors I noticed in this one, but that’s pretty much it. Overall, fucking LOVED IT and I’m seriously invested now.
