Rules for Dating Your Ex

I am sad to say goodbye to the Bailey family! I loved this family and their ups and down as they each found love. This book was good, but seemed a little light on the actual romance. Our Hero is working on his sobriety and making amends to the heroine and their daughter. I felt like we got a really good look into the quest to maintain sobriety, but it took up a lot of this book.
I suppose that because these two had already been together the story was light on the actual romantic wooing. Instead we get a lot of the Hero showing up, proving his sobriety, apologizing for past wrongs, and showing he is a changed man. I just longed for some truly swoony moments with the H and h where they were just a man and a woman, not two people reconnecting through co-parenting.
Their story was sweet and raw and real. I loved the chemistry between these two. This book had a lot of sweetness, but not a ton of swoon.
I received an ARC of this title from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
