lots of copaganda (us security marshall-ganda?) in this one, but a smaller dose of the usual violent misogyny that is typically found in a Karen Slaughter novel. Which is not to say there was none but it was less prominent. This was a fairly slow book with the mystery being solved in like twenty pages at the end but I’m not mad about that and still found it interesting.
Graphic: Bullying and Misogyny
Moderate: Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Rape, Self harm, Sexism, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Suicide, and Suicide attempt
Minor: Eating disorder, Homophobia, and Dementia
