Did not finish book. Stopped at 18%.

Early in only the second chapter, the joke of the whole book seemed to devolve into repetition. Flipping though later parts of the book, I can see that the same kinds of jokes (?) are reused with each different topic. That doesn't make me want to continue reading it through.

The ultra-conservative tone of the narrator becomes exhausting quickly. Because there really are lots of people in America today who speak like that, it actually takes away from the funny absurdity of the premise and the humor fades.
