This series is SO overhyped. The first book was just ok. I read in normal book form and thought it was slow. A friend suggested doing the audio version, so I did that for this book. Yes, the MMC’s audio was hot. But holy shit the plot was so slow. Her only good writing was the spice, and there wasn’t nearly enough.
