What a great book to kick the new year off with! I haven’t read a lot of sapphic romances, but this was just so fun. And having it be New Year’s Eve themed just added to the fun.

Okay, so I loved the fact that Amanda and Wren started off as internet besties and decided to finally meet in person. And then having to share a bed? AND the mutual pining?? I just about died from all the trope overload…but like, in a good way. I also really liked that little bit of angst of “is this just a fling or is it something more?”. It made for a really great read.

Overall, a solid book to start 2022 with. I also want to read more of this series now! I know, starting a series with the middle is weird, but I’m excited to see what else is in this little world. Party Favors is getting a solid four and a half stars.
