Love, love, love this book. I haven't read the series in almost ten years, and yet as I re-read, I find myself just as enraptured as the first time! Clare's later Shadowhunter series get frustrating and even sickeningly dramatic and emotional and I will no longer read them, but this series set in the 1800's is still a favorite. The pacing is also more medium to fast, fyi, which wasn't a choice.
