Reticence
by Gail Carriger
I have enjoyed this series so so much. It has a little bit of everything and I tear through any of Gail Carriger's books, honestly, but this series had such a lovely ensemble and family that inhabited it. It was nice to get a peak into all of their perspectives as the series progressed and to have Arsenic added in Reticence. The setting was beautiful and exploring as shape-changers was so lots of fun and you had the perfect narrators, Arsenic and Percy, for theorizing about them and all the new things they encounter on this adventure. As always, it was witty, thrilling, full of an adequate amount of pastries, a touch flirty, and a wonderful mix of steampunk with characters who are werewolves and vampires and unique ones such as a metanatural! it's just so fun and I honestly thing I waited so long to finish the series because I didn't want it to end.
